Songwriting
Lonesome And Then Some |
| C. Finley / S. Shelly (ABC Music Publishing/ Crab King Music) I first heard Col Finley at the studio where he recorded his My Life album, and became an instant fan - got invited to hear him play in Tamworth during festival week (Think he played for around three hours that night.) His newest record, Only The Truth (New Breed Recordings), is exactly that - the real deal. |

Gotta Take A Minute |
| B.Colley/ S.Shelly (Control/Crab King Music) This one came out of my first co-writing session with the politely persistent Mr. Brock Colley. He was kind enough to include this on his newly released debut EP, (sorry I missed the launch party, Brocko). Sings, writes, and plays great guitar - check it out. |

Under The Big, Big Top |
This is one of two songs I wrote for Putt Putt Joins The Circus (2000); one of my favorite interactive series for three to eight year olds, (and kids of all
ages.) |

Why Don’t You Love Me |
| T. Jans/ S. Shelly (MelDav / Almo Music) Going back a ways, here - my first co-write with an artist which actually made it to the album - Tom Jans, Dark Blonde - Columbia. Tom was a big influence on me - took time to explain his thoughts on song-writing, publishing, the music business - had a lot of great times touring with him also. |

Lost In Your Eyes |
| T. Jans/ S. Shelly (MelDav / Crab King / Ackee Music) This one’s on Tom’s ‘Champion’ album for JVC, the last one he made before he passed away (RIP, TJ). |

|
Can’t Keep A Secret |
| T. Jans/ S. Shelly (MelDav / Rondor) Mike Finnegan recorded this on a solo album Black and White - great singer and keyboard player -works with an LA band called Jack Mack and The Heart Attack. |

Dare |
| V. DiCola/ S. Shelly (DiCola Music/ Crab King Music ASCAP) Vince was finishing the score to The Transformers Movie and got asked to write an anthem at the last minute - he had the track and a very precise melody written, with a one syllable start of the chorus. Asked me to write the lyrics, which I did in the better part of a day. Stan Bush is singing on this. |

Always |
| R. Calhoun/ D. Batteau/ S. Shelly (Mooney Tunes BMI/ David Batteau Music/ Crab King / Ackee Music ASCAP) June Pointer from the Pointer Sisters recorded this on a solo album “Little Sister”- they got the groove right, and I still like the MiniMoog fills. |

Facts Of Life |
D. Batteau/ T. Humecke/ E. Pressly/ S. Shelly - (David Batteau Music/Tony Humecke Music/Mechanical Panther/
Crab King Music) - OK, it was the 80’s - great little band called NOMO - I had another co-write on this album called Dance The Dance. Batteau is an amazing song-writer and singer - still like his early solo stuff the best. |

| M. Levy/ R.Feldman/ S. Shelly (Make-Zee Music / Narwal (BMI) / Crab King Music) - Marcy Levy recorded this on a solo album, then became Marcella Detroit with Shakespeare’s Sister- Marcy co-wrote Lay Down Sally. |
